Seasight Solutions Acquires Stake in Vietnamese Partner

Seasight Solutions has acquired a stake in the Vietnamese company Huy Minh Corporation – a long-standing partner that has supported the company’s international production and growth since 2020.

The investment marks the culmination of a close, trust-based collaboration that began when Seasight Solutions acquired Blåholm, a company based in Esbjerg, Denmark, in 2020. The first projects with Huy Minh were already in place, and the partnership has continued to grow ever since.

“We have had continuous production at Huy Minh for the past three years, and the collaboration has consistently been defined by high quality and mutual trust. That foundation makes it a natural next step for us to deepen our partnership,” says Thomas Halkjær Kristensen, CEO of Seasight Solutions.

Closer to the Asian Wind Market

Following the investment, Huy Minh Corporation will be regarded as Seasight Solutions’ third production unit, alongside its two Danish production sites in Hvide Sande and Ringkøbing. This gives the company a stronger presence in Asia and enhances its ability to meet growing demand – particularly in the wind industry.

“This is very much about being closer to the market in the APAC region. Today, there are projects in the Asian wind market where we are not considered if production is based in Denmark. At the same time, we gain access to production capabilities in Vietnam that we do not have at home,” explains Thomas Halkjær Kristensen.

Huy Minh Corporation is a well-managed company certified to ISO 1090, ISO 3834, and ISO 9001 standards. Seasight Solutions emphasizes that the collaboration has already been thoroughly tested.

“We are investing in a company that performs at a very high level, and where we know both the quality and the culture. That gives us a strong platform for strengthening our competitiveness in Asia,” says Thomas Halkjær Kristensen.

Long-Term Growth Strategy

The investment is part of Seasight Solutions’ long-term growth strategy and will support the company’s ambitions in both the wind and defense industries. At the same time, Danish production will remain central to the company’s operations, with an increased focus on development and advanced solutions.

“This is not about moving jobs. It is about creating growth. With a stronger international presence, we can maintain and further develop our market position while also strengthening our activities in Denmark,” says Thomas Halkjær Kristensen. Seasight Solutions expects Huy Minh to continue serving as a key production facility for the company’s activities in the APAC region.
